OUR MISSION IN ACTION
Rooted in the Gospel, the Catholic Migrant Farmworker Network (CMFN) is dedicated to empowering migrant lives through faith-based leadership and community accompaniment. Our programs provide migrant farmworkers
with the tools to lead, the faith to persevere, and the community to thrive.
"El Sembrador” is a capacity-building formation program designed to equip parish communities to accompany migrant farmworkers. This program is vital because migrant farmworkers, often separated from their families and living in unfamiliar surroundings, turn to the Catholic Church for a sense of welcome, support, and belonging. What makes El Sembrador unique is its holistic approach, offering faith formation grounded in the Catholic Social Teaching. This approach fosters mutual
transformation, both for the farmworkers and the parish communities that embrace them.
