Your Donation Supports Our Mission

We are making visible, the invisible population of farmworkers. Our mission is to promote the formation of welcoming church communities with on-the-ground accompaniment who advocate for human dignity, social justice and integral spiritual development. The mission is grounded in a spirituality that encounters Christ in the heart of the men, women in their dislocation while laboring in the vast agricultural industry. The experience of invisibility, voicelessness and powerlessness is transformed through kinship with each other and friendship with the local parish community & communities of service. Participation in the CMFN mission is building up a network of essential communities of agricultural workers and communities of accompaniers who journey toward transformation together.

 FAQs

  • We are working on setting up our online donation and sign-up system. In the meantime, click the link above to download our membership form and mail to the address at the bottom of the form. Currently the easiest way for us to accept donations is through checks in the mail. Please contact Admin@CmfnSembrador.org with any questions.

  • Contact is precisely this, that is, people and organizations with whom we have had contact. And the term member is those who have paid the membership fee.

  • The name contact can sound a bit cold so we will always strive to refer to those who are contacts as friends of CMFN.

  • Our small team is seeing how we can transfer the QGive app to our new website or use an alternative like Stripe or Paypal. Until then we can invite potential donors to give via check or money order to: CMFN Office 13818 S. Avenue 14 E; Yuma, AZ. 85367.

  • Each quarter our director will reach out with a password that will give you access to all of the information provided in our member’s only section of the website.

  • The Catholic Migrant Farmworker Network is grounded in 37 years of migrant farmworker ministry linked with the USCCB office of Pastoral Care of Migrants, Refugees and Travelers. Through local accompaniment and national networking, we have promoted farmworkers’ essential presence among us through leadership formation and welcoming church communities.

  • The fee is a "donation." Regarding membership, we do not want to leave anyone out for their cooperation, but we want to make a suggestion, invite them to donate what they can. In some cases, this would mean that some would pay less and others more!

“We are a community of migrant farm worker and rural immigrants, who walk towards the Kingdom without fear, giving witness as actors and not as spectators, a hardworking community in search of justice, mindful of the suffering.”
